00 - WHY THIS BLOG

 I received two messages in a Bottle.

Both have had a huge impact on me Today the 18th of September 2021,

Message1 - Die empty

The most beautiful book to read is "Die Empty" by Todd Henry.

The author was inspired and got this idea of writing ​​this book while attending a business meeting.

When the director asked the audience: 

"Where is the richest land in the world?"

One of the audience answered: 

"Oil-rich Gulf states."

Another added: 

"Diamond mines in Africa."

Then the director said: 

"No it is the cemetery. 

Yes, it is the richest land in the world, because millions of people have departed/died and they carried many valuable ideas that did not come to light nor benefit others. It is all in the cemetery where they are buried."

Inspired by this answer, Todd Henry wrote his book, "Die Empty" where he did his best to motivate people to pour out their ideas and potential energies in their communities and turn them into something useful before it is too late.

The most beautiful of what he said in his book is: "Do not go to your grave and carry inside you the best that you have.

Always choose to Die empty.

The TRUE meaning of this expression, is to die empty of all the goodness that is within you. Deliver it to the world, before you leave.

If you have an idea perform it.
If you have knowledge give it out.
If you have a goal achieve it.

Love, share and distribute, do not keep it inside.
Let’s begin to give. 

Remove and spread every atom of goodness inside us.

Message 2 - Remember Those Days

We once felt, 2000 was far to arrive. Now, year 2000 passed us 20 years ago.

We also thought 2020, was too far to think; it is now September, 2021.

We once realized, old age is something too far for us to consider. Now, we often say, “when I was young”; so often.

Youth seems to have left us long ago.

Time—impossible to hold on— -We have survived a big part of our life.

As the saying goes 

"Time and Tide Wait for No Man?

We used to sing 

“future is not for us to see”. 

Now, future has not much left.

We ought to treasure the remaining years we have.

It is time to think within,
Live and love ourself more.
Spend our time wisely.

Treasure every moment we have, spend time with people, our loved ones, our good friends. To love and to live. Do not compare. Do not compete.

Stay healthy,
Eat well
Live well and be well
Count everyday as a blessing

May you all be blessed with good health, peace, joy and happiness.

When I combine the two messages I realise "Time is Running Out and that I want to Die Empty"

I always believed we come into this world with empty hands and leave with empty hands and take nothing with us when we die, but never realised the mistake about taking all my precious thoughts and ideas on how to make society a better place with me to my grave without sharing them. 

This never ever occurred to me

I did publish my first Book : "Reflections by IITians " in 2008. I can never forget   Dr Vimala Nayanar for suggesting that I publish a book and pressurising me for many years until I did and gave her a Copy and I can never explain the Joy in her eyes that Day. 

Mithu and I have lost the most precious person who brought us together and was there for us from the time we landed. We loved her so much we called her Mum. She is No more and we feel helpless in 2021. May her Soul Rest In Peace.

Today the 18th of September 2021 I have Promised mum meaning Dr Vimala that I will publish my second book and list all the ideas in my head for product innovations and ideas to improve education in India and how IIT should regain all  the wonderful aspects we enjoyed last century and have been lost like Typical PSUs of India and also about fixing Australia's Medicare that is being abused by the medical profession.

All of last year and this I made a few gallant efforts to get a team of Like Minded people to contribute for my Book "Repairing India" and Rebirth of IIT Global Groups and second publication "IIT Book"

Don't ask me why ? I know I left IITM in 1970, 51 one years ago but I never ever left and a piece of me was left behind. Very few alumni understand this attachment and probably think I am Looney..

Today I realise, yes family and friends will applaud me for doing some thing but very few will join hands as it is not their dream but mine

I know now that I have to go it alone. 

It is Now or never and Time is Running out

I know I can rely on my youngest sister  Dr. Sheela Krishnaswamy, a Climate Change Expert and Movie Maker and editor of Reflections by IITians to edit and publish my second book it if I kick the bucket in the Process

I am Glad I have started today as 18th is my Lucky Date

21st September.

Yesterday was a day to remember as I got my second Astra Vax Shot and hopefully I am Covid Safe

I am feeling Zonked today. May be too much Gardening and hope it is not reaction to Vax. and I receive this valuable  Message of Wisdom
