My favourite tree resides on Ricard Road, Strathfield.  

I named this tree affectionately as DUKE after the Duke of Edinburgh.  Duke has grown with health and looking closely, can you see two eyes, a snout and one ear? 

You see Duke is really an Afghan hound. He has tresses starting from the top of his head and these cascade to his body, represented by his trunk! He sways in the wind but is unbreakable no matter what. He spreads direct communication and some folks cannot take it..hence the brown patch under him. Last archives have him as 99 years old and going strong. Sometimes Duke gets a cough and the humans cut back his tresses. But mostly he is magnificent , regal and a loyal tree. My favourite DUKE.😍🥰😉🥳
