I was encouraged to go down this path after Najeela, my Fav Singing Partner on Smule sent me a forward on "Dying Empty"  as I mentioned at the beginning. But for her there would have been no zoom session Yesterday. Thanks Naj for being an inspiration.

Najeela wrote "I think everyone got a clear point of how to observe their health and get a good understanding of what  we need to be more healthy. So I think this was a great start in my point of view. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€²πŸ€²....Please  go on with your great work.it will be very helpful for many of us for sureπŸ‘πŸ‘.

When the session ended I forgot to save the recording as I assumed my sister who set up the session would have recorded it automatically. Luckily for me Naj has recorded the Audio...πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ (Except I have not figured out how to upload the audio file here)

Thank you for joining the zoom session yesterday. Was my first attempt to discuss health. I am actually disappointed, as I lost the text and the flow. Been a while, since I hosted a Zoom session. On hind sight I should have made it all a "Key Note" - Slide show with images and text instead of jumping around and waffling on.  I did get a bit rattled and lost the flow. Think my text was packed to the rafters. Too much info can be an overload

The Good news is last night Mithu and I made an agreement to make You Tube Videos Series sharing our health battles she being a Diabetic Type 1 from age 13 and me having A to Z ailments baffling medicos and how we survived for what it is worth. Thank you for joining.

What was the take away summary from your point of view ?

I have had a couple of very valuable feed backs that I will share with all of you. Thank You again

Comment-1:
My Best Buddy Raju Jairam from Colorado who is my Pillar of support in analysing my symptoms and finding everything he can through Google searches and Mayo Clinic had this comment to make.                                                                                              "I "Thought you had some good information, some common sense items that folks ignore or are totally unaware of. Most important message is to listen to your body.  I don’t know how many got that.
I agree that you rambled a bit."                                                                                        (Now that is what Good Friends are for and I love my critics as they help me fix my shortcomings. I Feel  Blessed as I have No shortage of good friends. )

My Friend Loganathan wrote                                                                                          "After the zoom, I called our friend Kumaraswamy and he told me he listened to your entire talk using his grandson's Rithin Mob Phone. As much as I was, he too was surprised about your in depth knowledge in medical and health science, he told that you are more a Doctor than Engineer. He was also full of praise about your vast experiences in life. My opinion is that you had expressed yourself better without the slide show. We had an opportunity to see you and your Mrs on this zoom call.  So life goes on as usual by God's grace and good circle of friends.πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Indrajit Ray wrote " It was indeed an excellent session."

My IITM buddy Kuppuswamy wrote                                                                               "Dear Ram,You spoke very well. Learnt the importance of water and the need to consume adequately. Well explained.
I enjoyed the session. My doubts clarified by your wife. Need for consulting the right doctor is well said and I am with you.

Shankarswamy wrote "I came in briefly by Zoom at 5 minutes, past 10 but, while I could see you, I couldn't hear you... So I disconnected...😏
(Sorry Shanks. will share details with you)

Rohin Mahajan also IITM alumnus now in Sydney wrote :                                                                                                            "Thanks for organising the session uncle, it was a good one ,
The water part was good,.
The good takeaway was that all the facts were probably there in back of mind always but you reinforced them, something like don't eat after dinner and before breakfast.. Fasting one day a week is also good idea

Comment 8:
Najeela wrote: For me all your points were  very valuable and my hubby was complaining as to why I didn't record it from the start. I was multi tasking at that time and was on my phone.  So my son had to download zoom in his computer then started to record.😭😭

Me: I am not sure if any of you have this habit of leaving the best piece for the last when eating Dinner.I developed this habit and worked great until Anand was about 5 years old. He thought it was fun to grab the last piece of prawn chicken or potato from my plate like a hawk and eat it and say "Na Nanna naanaaaaa" Believe it or not he does it even after becoming a dad himself . I left the best Response for the last πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

Comment 9:
My Good Friend Chandra Kumar aka CK from Bangalore wrote "You were Great Ram....Nice to see you sharing your health know how and experiences....AM sure may found it very useful. I will send you a note on my thoughts. both on what you shared and few more.

Me: I just listened to the Zoom audio that Naj saved and shared with me and in My opinion I conclude that it was a lot of good information but badly presented. I am unhappy I botched the audio as an acoustic engineer. I should have used my iPad with my Dynamic Microphone. Macs Built in Mic is not good enough. Plus I was rushing through as I realised it was 1,00am for Nacha in SF and also very late for Raju in Colorado. So Perhaps a Valuable lesson.

I am definitely getting my Rode Pod Caster with Microphones and Ear Phones for Ram & Mithus Podcast series...Thank You for your support and feed back

As My Wife Mithu says I am a perfectionist. I am not feeling Bad. We can plan all we want but so many factors beyond our control influence the final outcome.

30th October 2021:
Message from Subash Chandra

Ram, it's now been 9 years since I first started conducting exercise classes for ISCA (Indian Senior Citizens Association) - initially once a week, then twice, and then Covid and Zoom enabled 5 times a week.

80% of the regular attendees are still alive,(other 20% must be ghosts Subash :-( )  have regained movement in joints and limbs and muscles that they and their doctors had given up as a lost cause, reduced their medication for diabetes, pain and God knows what else, and I have personally benefited from exercise all my life.

Medicines are a necessary evil and I've found that Ayurvedic and Homeopathic are a better option in the long run.

Personally, I'm very cynical about the entire Pharmaceutical industry and their hold and control over politicians and the medical profession.

Like death and taxes, medicines are inevitable, but the less of them, the better 😊😊😊

Best for the Last:

On Sunday the 24th of October 2021, I decided to Host a Zoom session for Friends who were interested in hearing my experiences in life to stay alive.

Every one who attended was Polite and Kind and told me I did a Great Job. But in My Mind that I am a Perfectionist, I was not Happy as I was rattled and it ended up as a Rambos Ramble. Had a few technical Glitches with share scree to share my Key Note slide and the process lost my Notes, rushed it through as it seemed to be taking too long and forgot about Question Time.

Basically My Forte is Writing and I decided I should stick top it and hence the Blog which will live on as Long as My Gmail continues to Live
